Maura Turner

Maura leads Charlesbank’s marketing and communications efforts and co-leads the firm’s responsible investing program.
Maura joined Charlesbank in 1999 from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she worked in corporate communications. Her roles there included media relations specialist, publications manager and communications manager. She also worked in employee relations for Houghton Mifflin Company. At Charlesbank she leads the firm’s internal and external communications and marketing efforts and helps spearhead the firm’s ESG efforts across Charlesbank and its portfolio.

St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto – BA in English and classics, with distinction
Boston University’s College of Communication – MS in mass communications and public relations
Personal
A native of Rochester, NY, Maura lives with her husband, two sons and two spoiled labradors in Dedham, MA. She serves on the board of the Dedham Community House. An avid runner, she is especially happy after a run, relaxing with a good novel, traveling to places that require a passport and spending time with her family outdoors (on the trails of Vermont or the lakes of New Hampshire).
