Karen joined Charlesbank in 2013 from Paul Capital Advisors, where she served as the New York Office Manager and Executive Assistant for 10 years. Prior to that, she held similar positions at pharmaceutical start-up IDDS, global financial communications firm Citigate and Norwest Bank International.

Karen came to New York City to study acting at the Juilliard School before embarking on an early 15-year career as an actress, singer and dancer. Her professional credits include principal roles on Broadway, numerous television commercials, national theater tours and even nightclub appearances. She lives in Westchester, NY, and in her free time enjoys attending new theater and opera seasons, as well as visiting with her four grown children.
