Prior to joining Charlesbank in 2023, Colby spent nearly six years at Benefit Street Partners where he served as Manager in both finance and operations functions. Prior to Benefit Street Partners, Colby began his career at Ernst & Young in the asset management practice, primarily focused on auditing private equity and hedge fund clients.

Colby is a Rhode Island native who continues to reside in the Ocean State. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, golf and going to the beach.
